SITA APVe Translations Feature
SITA APVe, also known as AirportVision, optimizes passenger management by providing airports with detailed flight information and enabling targeted visual and audio communications to engage passengers effectively.

As a collaborative team, we conducted user research, developed personas, crafted user flows, and produced wireframes, as well as low and high-fidelity prototypes, all within a span of 6 weeks.
Problem
Airport administrators need a better way to add and edit translations so they can improve the speed/efficiency of fixing errors or adding translations.

User Research
Our primary initiative was to refine our research strategy. To pinpoint existing product challenges, we conducted usability testing by engaging in interviews with implementation engineers. These professionals are responsible for configuring the software across diverse airport locations before its deployment for airport employees. Notably, our participants were users aged over 30, possessing extensive experience in software setup accumulated over many years.
Persona
Utilizing insights garnered from extensive user research, we've sculpted a persona that encapsulates the essence of our user community. This persona acts as our compass, steering us towards designs that consistently prioritize user needs and preferences.

User Flow
After undergoing rigorous testing and collecting feedback from developers and Implementation Engineers, we refined the user flow for the translation feature to enhance the experience for all users.
Translation Feature Low-Fidelity Wireframes
In the following stage, we developed low-fidelity wireframes that adhered to our predefined user flow. Before progressing further in the design process, we rigorously tested these wireframes with implementation Engineers.
